　A Few Words about Li Xiaohua, the Newsrea der

　　Li Xiaohua, 38, a native of northwestern province of Shaanxi, earned his BA degree in English in 1989 from Xi'an Foreign Studies University in Xian, capital of Shaanxi Province, and MA degree in English in 2000 from Peking University in Beijing. Currently Li works as an associate professor and the Acting Dean of the Foreign Languages College (FLC), Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) in Qingdao, Shandong.

　　Li showed a keen interest in English language as early as in middle school days, and was admitted to college with 98 points out of 100 in the English subject due to his hard work at English. In the course of his undergraduate studies, Li tuned his sharp ears everyday to the English programs on BBC World Service, and tried hard to imitate the accent, which helped him to speak English fluently with a perfect British accent. In his 15-year long teaching career, Li has been teaching at college, among other courses, English Phonetics, for which he wins high praises from both native speakers and his colleagues.

　　李小华，男，生于1966年，陕西省咸阳市人。

　　1989年毕业于西安外国语学院英语系，获文学学士学位。2000年毕业于北京大学英语系，获文学硕士学位。现任教于青岛科技大学外国语学院，副院长，副教授。

　　中学时就钟爱英语，高考英语取得高分98分（满分100分）。大学期间，四年如一日坚持收听、模仿BBC英语节目，练就了一口标准的英式英语（RP）。长期以来，任高校英语专业语音课教师，深受专家和同事的好评。
