NANJING, East China, Oct. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Tan Zongliang of Shandong won the men's 10m air pistol title on Sunday at the 10th National Games of China.

　　Tan, winner of the event at the 7th National Games, scored a total of 685.4 points to claim the third shooting gold medal for Shandong.

　　Shi Xinglong of Liaoning beat Beijing's Wang Biao and Zhang Tian of Ningxia into third and fourth places respectively as Shi scored 10.6 in the shoot-off against Wang's 10.2 points and Zhang's 9.8. All three shooters finished the 10-shot final at 685.3.

　　"I won the title in 1993. It is a long time." said Tan. "I have been waiting for the title for 12 years."

　　Tan co-led the eight finalists at 586 points with Shi Xinglong from Liaoning, but fell down to the third place after the third shot in the final.

　　However, Tan, sixth placer in Athens Olympics in 2004, climbed to top after the ninth shot and claimed the title with 685.4 points.
