The2017 China International Consumer Electronics Show (2017 SINOCES) ended with success on25th September.64,178 person-times visited the4-day show. The intentional deal sum reached CNY771 million by domestic companies, and the intentional export reached USD236 million.

The2017 SINOCES faces challenges of Smart Era with innovation and reform. Besides most of the items of the industry, such as smart household appliances,3D printing, and smart robots, the show also constantly upgrades the Platform-oriented show strategy to build new platforms innovatively to explore the new area for an internationalized industry eco circle.

To pursue innovation and provide the show platform for innovation ability of the innovation companies and achieve fast commercialization of innovation products, the Hardmaker Festival– the2017 SINOCES Evaluation Activities among Global Intelligent Hardware was held as a part of the event.

As the key part of the event, the2017 SINOCES held the Sixth Leader Innovation Award Evaluation & Awards Ceremony, which provides a platform for exchange and show for cutting-edge technologies and innovation R&D for consumer electronics companies in the past consecutive6 years.71 innovation new products introduced by leading companies at home and abroad such as SAMSUNG, CANON, Haier, Xiaomi, TCL, Hisense and Meizu got10-categories awards, such as Smart Experience Award, Application Innovation Award, Industrial Design Award. The awarded products include Aucma smart interactive refrigerator that enables voice/image recognition for nutrition dish, the innovative and only the smart door lock enables entering the system without key in China, portable projector, and Haier conditioner that can recognize the body temperature and supply air in districts.

In addition, in order to enhance communication on tech and industry, the2017 SINOCES has held the2nd China Qingdao big data summit to provide a platform for communication between companies, universities and research institutes. (Liu Ping)

2.  Qingdao Textile Museum opened to public

The Qingdao Textile Museum, the only museum based on a former industrial site in China, opened to the public on29th September.9 theme halls and19100-year-history ruins provided a cultural banquet for citizens and visitors.

Walking in the history hall of the Qingdao Textile Museum, rotating the yarn reeling machine hang with colorful Jian yarn bring the visitor back to the old days,“Hat of Shengxifu, cloth of Qianxiangyi, silk of Ruifuxiang, suit of Zhentai”. Right in here, you can be brought back to the golden time of4 most famous textile shops in Qingdao, and walk the way of old days that Shanghai, Tianjin and Qingdao enjoyed prime position in Chinese textile industry.

As a birthplace of modern textile industry of China, Qingdao enjoys the same position as Shanghai and Tianjin, and they were called as Shangqingtian in the textile industry of China. Different from Making scenario in textile museum of Shanghai and Tianjin, as the only textile museum based on the former industrial site, Qingdao textile museum maintains original items, like a water tower built in1934, the wet alarm valve made in1933 by US STAR Company, zigzag workshop, formed a natural textile industry former site park together with other9 halls. The museum is said to apply for national AAA tourist attraction in this year and will apply for AAAA national tourist attraction in the next2 years. (Yu Ruixin)

3.  Qingdao to build international cultural backpackers tourism theme bookstore

The sea blue tide roof and sea mew accessory, white big ship and whirlpool bookshelf, ship head shaped stage, book-captured net. Sea elements were brought into a bookstore, which is the1st international cultural backpackers tourism theme bookstore in the Qingdao Zhanqiao Bookstore opened on the morning of30thSeptember in the former Shinan franchise of Xinhua Bookstore at Henan Road. As a bookstore of the Qingdao closest to the sea, fresh ocean scenarios and backpackers tourism theme brought it much attention even before opening.

Designed by the writer, publisher and bookstore space designer San Shi, the bookstore was defined as a reading culture space integrating Internet+Books+Tourism+Good Food+Publishing for cultural backpackers tourist readers from both home and abroad. He also said the bookstore would set up a new mode integrating reading culture and tourism culture in Qingdao and will become a new landmark and international cultural business card for the city.

The traditional bookstore layout was reshaped in this about1,500sqm new space. The1st floor of the Zhanqiao Bookstore provides excellent literatures, art, tourism books, and original version books in English, French, Japanese and Korean and other languages, as well as cultural creative products. It has a professional reading cultural art show stage for various kinds of all-people reading and art show activities. In the future the bookstore will hold Reader Plan, meeting with writers, new book launch, and other reading activities, as well as little concerts, dances, and opera salons. (Li Wei)
