HK Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngortook a bullet train debuted in HK and made by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. with great passion recently, and highly praised its excellent design and facilities, and urged the HK government and MTR to boost the bullet train project to achieve the goal of opening to the public in 2018 to bring fast and convenient railway services to HK residents. The bullet train, which reached HK by train instead of by ship, shows HK is integrated into national railway grid as a milestone in railway development history of HK SAR. CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd.won the contract of nine 350km/h bullet trains in 2012.
Besides this train just arriving in HK, another 2 have already arrived at HK in September 2016 and January 2017 by ship, the rest of the 6 will be delivered to HK in later 2017. This train as the 1st land transported to HK by land ran 2,500km start from Qingdao to Huanggang and then was dragged to Shigang train station by machine shop truck. White, red and orange color wave lines painted in silver base color of the streamlined bullet train, each of which has 8 carriages. 579 seats and 2 spaces for wheelchair-sitting people are inside. The carriage has plentiful space inside, charging dock, dining table, and magazine standsfor each individual passenger. Chair back can adjust its inclination angle, and each row of chairs can turn around to align with running direction or for passengers in different rows totalk. The train has a special toilet for disabled, and baby platforms.

It has set up a world record in that it just took 72 days from gas turbine preparation to lighting. With 1,230 MW installed capacity, the power plant can produce ten billion kW electricity per year to meet the demand of more than 4 million households to ease the electricity shortage of Pakistan. The station has 2 gas turbines, 2 waste heat boilers and 1 turbine unit, which adopts world leading Revolutionary 9H combined cycle turbine unit, which is the gas turbine with the highest initial temperature, power and efficiency in current world with high reliability, flexibility and low cost. The power plant uses gasified and liquidized natural gas as main fuel and high-speeddiesel as a backup. Up to 1,230 MW electricity will be transmitted by 500kV power grid.

The TBM is for Philippine’s Angat project, a large diversion project to solve water resource shortage in Manila area. To boost the project, Philippine counterpart signed purchase contract after visited design, R&D, parts purchase, assembly parts of CSHI (Qingdao). The officials from CSHI (Qingdao) said the 4.94-meters tunneling machine designed and developed by the company works better in local construction sites. They made a record in the industry with completing assembly and test work within one month. The tunneling machine uses to high wear-resistance materials to enhance wear-resistance of cutter and screw machine, which can work well in different rock formations alongside the route.
