The Qingdao Intelligent Life Technology Innovation Center was formally approved last week. The project will be jointly constructed by the Qingdao Haier Group Technology Research and Development Center，Ocean University of China, China University of Petroleum, Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southwest Jiaotong University, and DCCI Internet Data Center.

    By integrating outstanding domestic and overseas resources related to intelligent life, the center will build up the intelligent life technology and industry innovation mode and construct itself into a globally leading intelligent life technology innovation center. By 2020, a 100-billion-level intelligent life industrial chain will be cultivated in Qingdao.

    The center will put emphasis on 5 fields, namely intelligent life web of things operating system security kernel, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, information security, big data analysis technology to carry out the key general technology research and development, set up the intelligent life R &D and design public service platform, public technology service capability platform and industrialized operation platform, achieve the intelligent life industrial application demonstration and optimize the ecosystem of intelligent life industrial chain.

    Previously Qingdao has already launched the construction of 4 technology innovation centers on marine biological medicine, high-speed trains, intelligent home appliances, and granite. Wang Ping
