The Qingdao United General Aviation Company signed a joint venture agreement with Airbus in Beijing on April 27.

    According to the agreement, Airbus is going to establish a joint venture with the China Aviation Supplies Holding Company and Qingdao United General Aviation Company, and establish a H135 helicopter assembly line in Jimo of Qingdao. The line is expected to launch production at the end of 2018 with a designed production capacity of 36 per year. After being established, the line will be the 1st H135 helicopter assembly line located out of the Euro region of Airbus.

    In the future Qingdao will make great efforts to boost the development of the general aviation helicopter industry eco system and to improve the industry chain of Qingdao general aviation based on the helicopter project. (Liu Zhenxing)
