The 1st phase project of the Qingdao Oriental Cinema Film and Television Industry Park, which includes comprehensive service building of industry park, office building, some shooting rooms and after-effect workshops and R&D center, in the West Coast New Zone of Qingdao is expected to be finished at the end of 2016. According to officials, 100 domestic movies and 30 overseas movies are expected to complete the whole process from shooting to after-effect production in the park; one-stop service can be offered in the park.
The Film and TV Culture Festival promoted by the cinema will begin in this April: Rattle Bush, which is jointly produced by China and South Korea and starred by Yan Ni will enter the park this April. Chen Kun and Bai Baihe will go to Qingdao to promote their latest movie named Chongqing Hotpot; meanwhile, Star Making Plan is introduced to establish a long-term actor archive storehouse to reserve talent for the park based on art schools in the new zone, and it will give training to residents and improve culture environment in Qingdao.
