The Qingdao Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau has completed the review of water source area environmental conditions for concentrated drinking water; the results show all water source areas and water amount compliance rates are all 100%.

    The work covers eight such water source areas for drinking water offered to the urban area of Qingdao in 2014, including the Laoshan reservoir, Jihongtan reservoir, Xiaozhushan reservoir and Shuyuan reservoir; as well as 10 water source areas for drinking water for county-level administrative areas, including the Nuocheng reservoir, Shipeng reservoir, and Wangquan reservoir.
