The Shandong Economic and Information Technology Commission has recently issued a list for provincial industrial design (ID) centers. 4 Qingdao companies received the honor, and they are Aucma, Qingdao Impulse, Qingdao JERO mechanical and electronic development, ZUKI design and engineering solution. Now Qingdao has 2 national ID centers and 5 provincial ID centers.The Ministry of Industry and Information approved 32 ID centers as the first batch of national ID centers in 2013, Qingdao Haier innovative design center and Hisense ID center received the honor, the number is in the leading position among all sub-provincial cities. This year, the Shandong Economic and Information Technology Commission improved the Management Method of Shandong Provincial Industrial Design Center in order to guide and regulate ID center construction of Shandong companies.
